Run by the Queensland Conservatorium's Bachelor of Popular Music program, SEED is an innovative music project based on the Gold Coast. We help emerging artists and bands find their feet. Every year we release a compilation album to showcase the best songs from our newest artists.
Spanning a range of genres including moody electronica, alternative folk, progressive soul and reggae, SEED Volume 5 is proof of the diversity and the high-caliber nature of the talent sprouting from the Gold Coast’s Bachelor of Popular Music program.
In the past twelve months alone, eight students and alumni were nominated in Triple J’s Hottest 100 and twelve were finalists in the Queensland Music Awards. It’s safe to say that SEED is not so quietly developing a reputation for being the Gold Coast’s music tastemaker.
